Bendhermong and Eretz (NPC 5) have reached a peace agreement under which Eretz will become a Bendhermongese protectorate.

Imara Seizes Azanian Island

The Imaran Navy has seized the island on the southeast coast of Azania. Azania has protested the action but has not declared war, presumably due to preoccupation with the war against Amalah. Azania has taken no action against Imara.

Sercia Capitulates to Imara

Sercia (NPC 8) has capitulated to Imara (NPC 6) and agreed to become an Imaran protectorate. The terms of the cease-fire commit Imara to Sercia's defense but give Imara access to Sercian oil and allow for Imaran troop movements around Sercia. Sercian officials have remarked that, although unfavorable, they had little negotiating power with the rest of the world occupied in the Amalah/Azania war.

Few casualties were reported on either side during the war due to the thin spread of Sercian troops and Sercia's policy of withdrawing rather than fighting.

Argonia Declares War on Vrymnul

The Argonian Empire has signed a treaty of alliance with Quatron and has declared war on Vrymnul in protest of Vrymnul's violation of the cease-fire between Amalah and Azania.

US declares war on Japan

My fellow Americans, as we all know, Japan has been attacking China non-stop for months now.  This needless slaughter of innocent lives is unacceptable.  I have already tried to contact the Japanese government asking that they stop this unnecessary war, but they have dismissed me on every occasion.  As of this moment, I am putting a trade embargo on Japan, blocking them from receiving any US goods, from oil and bullets to food and clothing.  Trade will resume once Japan agrees to a cease-fire and begins removing their occupying forces from within China's borders.

In order to speed up the return of peace and prosperity to Japan, I have sent several fleets to the Pacific in order to weaken Japan's attack significantly, either allowing them to see the error in their ways or letting the oppressed Chinese soldiers push the Japanese army back into the sea.

My predecessor might not have felt it necessary to stop this war, but it doesn't mean he made the right choice.  China is one of the largest markets in the known world, and I am sure many businesses situated here in the US have extensive deals with China during peacetime.  I do not want to fight Japan, as they were our allies in the "War to End all Wars", but if they will not stop in the name of diplomacy and peace, then I will personally make sure they stop in the name of war.

Eretz Declares War on Amalah

In an unpredicted move, Eretz (NPC 5) declared war on Amalah despite being already invaded by Bendhermong. Eretz has not conducted military action against Amalah.

Azania Resumes War with Amalah

In the recent war between Vrymnul and Amalah, Azania has alleged that Azanian soil has been used as a staging ground for Amalah's war effort by Amalah soldiers still occupying a small portion of Azania. Amalah protests the move as an unjust betryal of their cease-fire.

Imara invades Sercia

Taking advantage of the global uncertainty, Imara has declared war on Sercia. So far, they have landed troops in northeastern Sercia and encountered little resistance.

Bendhermong Invades Eretz

Bendhermong has launched a large-scale invasion of Eretz (NPC 5). Their government has refused to talk to reporters about the incident.

Vrymnul Declares War on Amalah

At the end of September, Vrymnul launched an invasion of Amalah. Casualties are not yet known.
